Sophie Cargill is a full-time potter based in Athens, Georgia. She has been making pots since 2017, and formerly worked under the business name Sophie Shannon Art. She regularly sells her ceramics internationally online, at artist markets in the Southeast, and in various shops and galleries locally. She is part of Southern Star Studio's pottery collective, where she works as studio manager.
